AAMET

The AAMET (Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques) is a non-profit  professional association which was founded for the purpose of the advancement of all forms of Energy Therapy world-wide.

Official AAMET members can become registered practitioners of Energy therapies such as EFT, Emotrance, TAT, Matrix re-imprinting, BSFF and Balance Procedure.

The AAMET is committed to maintaining a strong code of ethics and practice and to establish this Association as the lead training provider of Emotional Freedom Techniques.

The AAMET was first established in 1999 by a group of EFT enthusiasts lead by UK Homeopath and Meridian Therapist Dr Tam Lewellyn-Edwards who was awarded Master Practitioner status by  Gary Craig, the originator of EFT. The association quickly grew from a small group of like-minded individuals to a strong, multinational entity thanks to his passion and the support of dedicated committee members.

Practitioners listed on AAMET’s  website are recognised AAMET members who have agreed to hold appropriate insurance cover and who have signed up to follow our Code of Conduct and Ethics  and to undertake an annual mininum number of hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD). The AAMET only accepts members with a high standard of training and has a formal complaints and investigation procedure in place.
